Two-thirds of all internally generated email sent is from employees communicating within an organization*. Yet most IT organizations only focus on inbound email when it comes to protecting against cyber-attacks. In doing so, they ignore the serious risks posed by internal and outbound emails and the actions of two at risk groups of users - the compromised and careless employee.
Mimecast Internal Email Protect extends the security capabilities of Targeted Threat Protection to provide advanced inside-the-perimeter defenses. Watch this on-demand webinar where Mimecast’s Chief Trust Officer, Marc French, and Cyber Security Strategist, Bob Adams discuss:
The top things to do to optimize your Targeted Threat Protection implementation and prepare for addressing the threats on the inside.
The multiple ways internal email threats start, and why human error nearly always plays a role.
The scale and impact of attacks that spread via internal email.
How to extend your current protection with Mim

How Security Solutions Enable Cloud Success Cloud applications have transformed how organizations conduct business, increasing productivity and reducing costs. However, moving to the cloud means critical data now flows outside the organization’s traditional security boundaries. Unsurprisingly, security concerns still rank as the number one reason for not using cloud services. Read the eBook to find out the five information security lessons learned from transitioning to the cloud.
All Clouds are not Equal
Today’s organizations turn to the cloud for all types of productivity-gaining tools – including security.
Features such as security for mobile users and data loss protection are key, but it’s also important to separate fact from fiction when looking at the infrastructure of the provider.
Download the ebook to discover five common misconceptions about cloud-based security infrastructure, and what you should really be looking for in a cloud-based security solution.

This white paper will provide a road map to the most effective strategies and technologies to protect data and provide fast recovery should data be lost or corrupted due to accident or malicious action.
Journaling is a powerful feature, one that IBM has continued to develop and improve over the years. Yet, depending upon your business requirements, you probably still need more protection against downtime than journaling alone can provide. This white paper will cover what you need to know about journaling, what it can do and how it supports and cooperates with high availability software.
Achieving effective and efficient high availability protection for larger IBM i environments requires careful thought and clear understanding of the technology options. This white paper describes what you need to know in order to make an informed decision about IBM i high availability strategies so that your business requirements for Recovery Time Objective (RTO) and Recovery Point Objective (RPO) are not compromised
This white paper provides a road map to the most effective strategies and technologies to protect data in AIX environments and provide fast recovery should data be lost or corrupted due to accident or malicious action. The paper also outlines the benefits of continuous data protection (CDP) technologies for AIX.
Continuous member service is an important deliverable for credit unions, and. the continued growth in assets and members means that the impact of downtime is affecting a larger base and is therefore potentially much more costly. Learn how new data protection and recovery technologies are making a huge impact on downtime for credit unions that depend on AIX-hosted applications.
Saint Joseph Abbey and Seminary College in Louisiana was using several separate products to help protect their network, filter content and monitor Internet usage. After installing the Astaro Security Gateway home use version, the solution quickly impressed with its usability and power.
In the broadening data center cost-saving and energy efficiency discussion, data center physical infrastructure preventive maintenance (PM) is sometimes neglected as an important tool for controlling TCO and downtime. PM is performed specifically to prevent faults from occurring. IT and facilities managers can improve systems uptime through a better understanding of PM best practices.

As digital business evolves, however, we’re finding that the best form of security and enablement will likely remove any real responsibility from users. They will not be required to carry tokens, recall passwords or execute on any security routines. Leveraging machine learning, artificial intelligence, device identity and other technologies will make security stronger, yet far more transparent. From a security standpoint, this will lead to better outcomes for enterprises in terms of breach prevention and data protection. Just as important, however, it will enable authorized users in new ways. They will be able to access the networks, data and collaboration tools they need without friction, saving time and frustration. More time drives increased employee productivity and frictionless access to critical data leads to business agility. Leveraging cloud, mobile and Internet of Things (IoT) infrastructures, enterprises will be able to transform key metrics such as productivity, profitabilit
The HX Data Platform uses a self-healing architecture that implements data replication for high availability, remediates hardware failures, and alerts your IT administrators so that problems can be resolved quickly and your business can continue to operate. Integration with leading enterprise backup systems allows you to extend your preferred data protection tools to your hyperconverged environment.
In the not so distant past, the way we worked looked very different. Most work was done in an office, on desktops that were always connected to the corporate network. The applications and infrastructure that we used sat behind a firewall. Branch offices would backhaul traffic to headquarters, so they would get the same security protection. The focus from a security perspective was to secure the network perimeter. Today, that picture has changed a great deal.
